Stephen "Kim" Tillery

| Kim Tillery is a native of Louisiana. Mr. Tillery began his business career with MilChem Drilling Fluids in South Louisiana in 1975. As a field technical representative Mr. Tillery addressed drilling fluid challenges in shallow and deep well drilling activities. Mr. Tillery climbed through the ranks of MilChem into the central technical staff where he engineered drilling fluid programs and addressed drilling fluid problems across the Gulf Coast region.
In 1982 Mr. Tillery joined four other business associates in LA-TEX Mud Services as a business partner where he served as technical manager and Vice President of operations. A year later, LA-TEX became Allied Drilling Fluids headquartered in Houston, Texas. Allied served the Gulf Coast region with drilling fluids services and drilling fluid engineering. Allied Drilling Fluids and its later commercial entity Associated Drilling Fluids merged with First Energy Corporation to become one of the major suppliers of drilling fluids throughout the Gulf Coast and Mid Continent region.
In 1991 Mr. Tillery and another business associate begin Advanced Chemical Technologies to supply drilling and production chemical products to oil & gas operators in the Gulf Coast, Mid Continent and Rockies. Advanced branched out internationally into Guatemala and the Republic of Georgia, supplying chemical products and services. In 1997 Mr. Tillery and his partner sold Advanced to Newpark Resources. Advanced represented one of the initial companies acquired by Newpark to form Newpark Drilling Fluids. Mr. Tillery continued on with Newpark in a management role until 2003 when he left Newpark to join Rapid Drilling Products.
At Rapid Drilling Products Mr. Tillery is the President and COO. Since his joining Rapid, Kim has directed Rapid in a year-on-year double digit growth trend by expanding Rapid’s proprietary line of drilling fluid additives and expanding Rapid’s position with oil & gas exploration companies as a reliable, cost-effective drilling mud supplier.
