Mr. Kevin Moody is a native resident of South Louisiana making his home in Lafayette, Louisiana where he manages and participates at a senior level in several business enterprises. After graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, cum laude, Mr. Moody attended Vanderbilt University where he received a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Human Resources Management.

 

In 1982 Mr. Moody, then a member of the Moody Company board of directors, assumed the position of Executive Vice President of that company. The Moody Company is a Louisiana based holding company with interests in newspapers, restaurants, and industrial service companies. The company also holds investments in real estate, energy and public market equities. In 1989 Mr. Moody was promoted to President and CEO of The Moody Company, a position he continues to hold.

 

In 2006, Mr. Moody along with two business associates, Mr. Michel Moreno and Mr. William Rucks III cofounded the company Moody, Moreno & Rucks (MMR) as a private equity firm based in Lafayette, Louisiana focusing on oil and gas service companies, exploration and production investments, real estate development and alternative energy.

 

Mr. Moody also holds board seats on The Moody Company, Dynamic Industries, Inc., Financial Corporation of Louisiana, Inc., Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Lafayette, Louisiana, and Community Foundation of Acadiana.
